The LocoBuffer needs to have revision 1.5 or later software: versions prior to that did not reliably transfer the long messages used to configure CVs in the boards. (Almost all LocoBuffers are of the correct firmware version).

Don't forget that to program our boards, you need to have LocoNet connected between the PC interface, the CML board AND your command station! See the following picture:

With the connections as shown above, install and run the LocoAnalyse program. set up your LocoNet connection (for help see this page). Select "renumber boards" from the "Configure" menu then press "Discover boards". after a few seconds you will see a list of all of the boards that can be configured using that program.
