USB Module for ACE DCC Controller
Product Description
The UBI2044 is a USB Communications Port for the ACE DCC Controller (sold separately) to allow for firmware updates to be installed from your Windows PC.
Installation of the UBI2044 is easy, simply unplug your ACE, unscrew the back panel (four screws in the corners), and then plug the UBI2044 into the port on the circuit board. There is no soldering or complicated wiring to do, and a full installation guide with photos supplied with the module.

The latest firmware update will be made available on the Sig-naTrak website, and will also be available via our approved centres.
The UBI2044 will also be used for future updates to allow the use of PC Control software such as JMRI and RailRoad & Co to automate your model railway.

To install the latest firmware, you will need to install the DCS2044 USB Firmware Update utility

Once you have downloaded the DCS2044 USB Firmware Update utility, you can download the latest Firmware .HEX file below to install onto your ACE Controller.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The UBI2044 is for the original "ACE" (purchased prior to April 2017). If you have the DCS2044-2 "ACE-2", the UBI2044 interface has been built into the controller and you do not need to purchase this add-on.
